You are playing with the Idea of settling in Mexico?

Many I know have made a change from the North as well as from the old Country to enjoy a pleasant warm climate with endless Beaches and sunshine.

Myself having made this decision some 18 years ago, have found a more relaxed way of life, away from the daily rate-race and the fear someone will be shooting at you.

Puerto Morelos, I found is a lay-ed back fishing village just fare enough from the larger City (30 Minutes) to do all your big shopping in Cancun, where you will find the all to familiar shopping centers like Sam's, Home depot and Costco. Should you really feel a bit home sick you even can fill up with a Mac at Burger king or MacDonald's.

But this does not leave you out to dine in one of the finest Restaurants you could find anywhere in the world.

Like in any other Country you have to make yourself legal. For this you need to apply for a Residence or a none Immigration Permit.

This is a standard requirement, but without great difficulty to obtain.

Obviously we will assist you in all to make you a local.

The local people are a super friendly bunch, many even try and will speak English to you.

I can not say we are completely free of crime, but in comparison to the US and Europe, I can only say we fare behind.

It happened only twice in my 18 years of living here that I have had the experience of being actually robbed, once by a German who I gave a place in my home and the second time someone stole my dog, a very sad experience.

So be well-come to a country where most people do not even know the name "Ban Laden.

Obviously if you do not wish to be left behind with the news, a multitude of TV stations are to your disposal, yes from Bill O'Reilly to Larry King and Deutsche Welle, all there so you do not miss out on things.

Gasoline still runs at about 2.40$US per gallon and you save the diesel to fill up your heater-tanks.

It is great for a family with children. Well they need to go to school right? Cancun offers multilingual schools and Universities. The will be fitted out with two or three languages for their future life. English, Spanish, German and French are common to be taught.

I trust there are many more questions to be answered, so please do not wait to use our email.

With Muchos Saludos I welcome you to visit.
