Real Estate Financing

There are three different avenues to finance a shortfall of cash when buying property in Mexico.

1. Mortgage financing through US Banks.

2. Mortgage financing through Mexican Banks

3. Owner Financing

For the first two possibilities we place you with the relevant Mortgage Broker, who in return will  go the long and winding path to obtain financing.

Specially in the US we find our self now in a position, where many banks having revised and restricted their lending methods.

Mexican Banks have not placed them self in the same position and are more willing to give mortgages.

Generally we encourage the seller to hold a mortgage if the same is necessary.

Interest on private financing runs at present between 8 and 10 % per year.

You will understand that each case is different and will have to be tailored as suited.

It is obviously in the prime interest of the buyer, investor to find a profitable investment to place his funds. A mortgage should only be considered if there is a shortfall of funds on behalf of the investor to close the purchase.
